Situation: Baker Boy needed to increase production and lower labor costs.

Mission: MEMCO was tasked with designing a solution which would increase throughput and decrease COGM while
maintaining a 2-year or less ROI.

Execution: Appreciating the finer nuances of bakery operations, MEMCO collaborated with the Baker Boy Operations,
Engineering, Sanitation and Quality teams to design a solution which could handle multiple products. This automation
design started at the point in the process where product was placed on trays and finished with the cleaning of the trays for re-use and every step in between.

Result: MEMCO’s comprehensive solution resulted in a labor requirement reduction of 40% and increased throughput
by 20%.
